Powlett Road

Picture
In December 1887, The Duke of Cleveland's agent, Frederic Farwell, announced that part of the old Bathwick Villa site was to be cleared to make way for new brick cottages, built on what would become, Powlett Road.

This blocked up doorway on Powlett Road led from Villa Fields into Bathwick Meadows.
